MCP Action BluePrint

MCP Fusion Blueprint: I used One Click Color and Lemonade Stand at the default opacity, Sunflare Center, Magic Markers to bring out the little bits of color in the leaves, and Shade for vignetting.
I cannot say enough great things about the MCP Fusion Set. They take my images from very nice to WOW with a few short clicks! For more information visit www.mcpactions.com where you will find useful links to products and training.

Logan Summer 2009 - Age 13

Logan had a fun 13th summer. Logan spent a lot of time this summer working with his dog, Lily, who went to the fair this year. He was also busy getting his other projects ready for the fair including his steer, baby back ribs and crops. The time he spent on his projects paid off big, he had the grand champion sugar beets and grand champion intermediate foods for his ribs. In his free time he went to Taekwondo, swimming and hung out with friends. Logan is spending Monday afternoons of his 8th grade year at Central Michigan Unversity participating in science/chemistry program.

Kyle Summer 2009 - Age 16

This summer Kyle was all about his pickup. It seems like just yesterday that he was peddling for all he was worth on one of many peddle tractors that he wore the wheels right off, now he has even bigger set of tires to wear out He had fun summer with his new found "freedom." He spent time working on the farm and baling hay for a neighbor, and enjoyed another successful year at the fair. He is off to a good start in his Junior year of high school and being dual enrolled at Mid Michigan Community College.

Logan's 13th Birthday

Friday night, we had a house full of boys for a sleepover in honor of Logan's birthday. Then on Sunday, we had the family gather for a Mexican Fiesta , complete with a pinata in our living room! Logan loves Mexican food, the hotter the better. Jalapenos were the first item on his food wish list for the party. It was a fun, but exhausting weekend!

I did it!

What a night! The highlight of an amazing journey...my journey to Black Belt. My Black Belt testing was tonight and I passed. It feels fantastic to have reached such a lofty goal. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever be here, but here I am. I never want to forget how amazing it feels to "Live with Intention." That is the phrase I chose to have put on my black belt (at least that is what is supposed to say, it's in Korean). To me living with intention means that you make things happen in your life, rather than just letting life happen. I hope to carry that philosophy with me in all parts of my walk in life.
